what is the ambassador programme

The ambassador programme works with key academics and business professionals from inside and outside the county to act as ambassadors for Cumbria.

By working closely with individuals and their Associations the programme will ‘sell' Cumbria as a business tourism destination. Cumbria's ambassador programme trains businesses in dealing with conferences and events, assisting both ambassadors and businesses in selling Cumbria to potential major events by promoting the unique sense of place that Cumbria has.
