Carlisle, the 2000-year-old capital of Cumbria, is a vibrant city, full of history and culture that awaits exploration around every corner. On the edge of the Lake District National Park, Penrith is an historic town and the regional hub for the Eden valley. With the M6 motorway

and the Lake District on its doorstep, Penrith offers the best of both worlds - quality venues and easy access -with the bucolic setting of the Eden Valley providing the backdrop for a great choice of relaxing retreats and inspirational conference venues.

Carlisle and Penrith are both easily accessed via the M6 motorway - Junction 40 for Penrith, and Junctions 42, 43 and 44 for Carlisle. Alternatively, they can be conveniently accessed by train on the West Coast Mainline from London, the west Midlands, Edinburgh or Glasgow.
